Light painting was the perfect mix of mischief and learning for my high school students. We learned about long exposures, movement, aperture, and manual dodge-and-burn techniques, experimenting and having fun alongside one another. Digital photography gave us the freedom to try something, see what happened, and try again, making the process of learning photography fun and experimental.
